Pregnancy/Post-pregnancy:The initiation of treatment with Crestor during pregnancy may increase the risk of preterm delivery. There is limited experience with the use of alcohol during treatment, and alcohol use during pregnancy may also reduce the effectiveness of Crestor during pregnancy.
Lactation:The use of Crestor may lead to lactic acidosis. Lactic acidosis occurs in any environment where Crestor is introduced. Lactation also leads to the development of other lung-related issues, including empyosis.
Monitoring:Serum alanine aminotransferase (AST) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST/iso-S1) are elevated during treatment and need to be monitored for 3-5 days after the last dose. Use of these tests may be necessary to exclude any cause of increased serum alanine aminotransferase.
Liver/ Kidney:Cases of hepatic impairment have been reported in patients taking Crestor. These may be corrected by specific measures. Hepatic impairment may affect the medication's effectiveness.
Crestor works by reducing a certain enzyme within the body that produces cholesterol. It belongs to a class of medications called statins.
Cholesterol is a form of lipid, a waxy substance that helps your body make cells, vitamins, and certain hormones. It is not inherently bad. Your liver produces an enzyme that synthesizes cholesterol to help with the above healthy functions. Additional cholesterol is introduced to the body through certain foods like meat, poultry, and dairy products.
There are two types of cholesterol: high-density lipoproteins (HDLs) and low-density lipoproteins (LDLs). LDLs carry cholesterol throughout the body, delivering cholesterol to cells that need it. HDLs carry excess LDLs back to the liver, where they are broken down and flushed from the body. While LDLs play a key role in cell health, they build up when the body has more cholesterol than the cells need. This buildup turns into plaque in the arteries (blood vessels). As plaque covers the artery walls, the blood vessels become narrow. This makes it harder for blood to flow through the body, which can lead to heart disease and heart failure.
Statins work by reducing the production of cholesterol in the liver, which lowers the overall cholesterol levels in the body. Not only do statins decrease levels of LDLs in the body, but they can also raise the level of HDLs in the body. In effect, they keep the body from making too much of the “bad” cholesterol that builds up in arteries while increasing the amount of “good” cholesterol that carries the “bad” out of the body. This dual action has been shown, along with diet and exercise, to lower overall cholesterol levels in patients effectively.
Crestor tablets for use with a reduced- cholesterol-lowering medicineCholesterol levels are produced in the liver by three main liver lipases: L-carnitine, D-simoglutarbil, and L-feto-L-carnitine. L- carnitine is a pancreatic enzyme that breaks down carnitines, resulting in increased cholesterol levels in the blood. D-simoglutarbil contains deoxyguanosine, a thymidine that is converted into a cyclic GMP molecule in the body. L-feto-L-carnitine breaks down carnitines in the liver, leading to increased levels of L-carnitine in the blood. This leads to increased levels of L-carnitine in the liver, which in turn lowers overall cholesterol levels in the body.
Statins work by reducing the production of cholesterol in the liver, which lowers levels of LDLs in the body. Lowering cholesterol levels by suppressing cholesterol production in the liver reduces the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and other cardiovascular issues. They also may decrease the risk of heart disease and blood clots.
In clinical trials, three out of four patients given Crestor experienced a 3.6 fold (2.4% to 15.3% ) reduction in total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, and high-density lipoproteins (HDLs). In addition to lower total cholesterol and LDL levels, Crestor has also been shown to increase low-density lipoprotein (LDL) levels.
In clinical studies, patients taking Crestor experienced a 10.8-15.7% reduction in triglycerides, 9.7% reduction in low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and 3.0% reduction in high-density lipoproteins (HDLs) as well as a 10.4% reduction in high triglycerides compared to patients taking a “statins” such as lopinavir and rivaroxaban.
In addition to total cholesterol and LDL levels, there are also other lipids in the body that may impact cholesterol levels. A number of these such as low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, and apolipoprotein (A) A have both been shown to impact cholesterol levels. Crestor may decrease LDL levels by inhibiting these lipid products.
Patients taking Crestor may experience some degree of hyperlipoproteinemia (a Pesh Mufta disease or hyperlipoproteinemia) which is characterised by high LDL (also known as “bad” LDL) and triglycerides (also known as “good” LDL). Patients taking Crestor may also experience a decrease in high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol and apolipoprotein (A) A.

As with all medicines, before taking Crestor(Rosuvastatin) tablets, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to rosuvastatin, any other medications or any of the ingredients in Crestor(Rosuvastatin) tablets. Tell your healthcare professional or pharmacist if you are taking, Nidosap or Rosuvastatin Tablets(R), or other tablets. Tell your health professional or pharmacist if you are taking any other medicines or you have any of the side effects of any drug, including any of the following: All of which are in the US FDA pregnancy category X, or in the European Medicines Agency's safety notice. Nidosap is not indicated for use in children weighing more than 10 mg. Nidosap may cause fluid retention, headache, dehydration and dizziness. Contraceptive methods: For women who have had an abortion, vaginal gynaecomica(hormonal abnormalities) or any bleeding problems ects. In the US, ects are 28 days, 36 weeks and 97 months. In the UK, ects are 10 days, 11 months. In the EU, 3 ects and 6 no ects. In the EU, ects are 3, 7 and 12. But ects can be prevented with contraceptive methods such as intra-uterine insemination (IUI). IUI is an in-vitro test that may be used in the management of ects. But there is a risk of pregnancy with IUI and the patient is required to have an ect in the next year. But if the patient ejaculates and the ect is treated with a vasodilator, ects may be treated with contraceptive methods. But the patient is required to have an ect in the next year. Contraceptive methods: In the US, vasodilators are used in the management of vasomotor symptoms of endometriosis (high vaginal bleeding). In the UK, intra-uterine insemination (IUI) is indicated in the treatment of vasomotor symptoms in women with endometriosis.
